The Project

Development of DoctoStaff, a job listing platform entirely dedicated to the healthcare sector. In a context of medical staff shortages in France, DoctoStaff addresses a critical need by connecting healthcare facilities (hospitals, clinics, medical practices, care homes) with sector professionals seeking opportunities. The platform covers all healthcare professions: doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, physiotherapists, pharmacists and many other specialities.

As a web development expert, I integrated the JoberGroup system for complete job listing management, with separate spaces for candidates and recruiters. The advanced search filters were specifically adapted to the particularities of the medical sector, enabling searches by speciality, contract type, geographic area and facility type.

Challenges & Objectives

The main challenge was to create an intuitive platform facilitating connections between healthcare professionals and recruiters in a high-pressure sector. The system needed to allow recruiters to easily post structured job descriptions, and candidates to apply in a few clicks using a pre-filled profile and online CV.

Search filters needed to be precise enough to cover the various medical specialities, geographic areas, contract types (permanent, fixed-term, agency, locum) and experience levels. The design needed to inspire trust and seriousness, consistent with the healthcare sector, while remaining accessible and simple to use for all user profiles.

Results

The DoctoStaff platform has facilitated recruitment in the healthcare sector by offering a specialised and effective tool. The platform's ergonomics and the relevance of search filters were praised by users, contributing to high satisfaction rates on both sides of the market.

Technologies Used

The platform was developed on WordPress with the integration of JoberGroup, a system specialising in job listing management. This technical combination offers a robust and scalable solution with simplified administration for daily job management. WordPress ensures editorial content flexibility, while JoberGroup handles the complex business logic of online recruitment.
