The Project

Creation of the showcase website for Homa Games, a fast-growing French studio specialising in the development and publishing of successful mobile video games. Homa Games positions itself as a major player in mobile gaming in France, with dozens of games downloaded by millions of users worldwide. The studio needed an online presence befitting its ambition and creative energy.

As a web development expert, I integrated the Figma mockups provided by the Homa Games design team into an interactive and engaging website. The modern and dynamic design perfectly reflects the studio's gaming universe, with vibrant colours, smooth animations and immersive navigation. The WordPress integration with Elementor delivered a high-performing site that is easily managed by the marketing team for updating the games catalogue.

Challenges & Objectives

The main challenge was to faithfully translate the Figma mockups into an interactive website that captures the studio's creative spirit and energy. The site needed to serve two strategic objectives: attract game developer partners wishing to collaborate with Homa Games, and present the studio's impressive mobile games portfolio to the general public and investors.

Animations and interactions needed to reinforce the dynamic and immersive aspect of the site without compromising loading performance. Responsive design was particularly important for a mobile gaming studio, as a large proportion of the audience visits the site from a smartphone. The marketing team needed to be able to update content autonomously to add new games to the catalogue.

Technologies Used

The site was developed on WordPress with Elementor for precise visual integration and simplified administration. WordPress offers the flexibility needed to manage an evolving games catalogue, while Elementor enables faithful reproduction of creative Figma designs. Custom CSS and JavaScript animations add the interactive touch essential in the gaming universe.
