The project
Prometheor is an online platform connecting students with qualified guidance counsellors for personalised career orientation sessions. The platform addresses a critical need: many students enter higher education without a clear understanding of their aptitudes, aspirations and the career paths available to them.
Xavier Kain developed the showcase website and booking platform to help Prometheor attract students and parents seeking quality guidance, while facilitating advisor recruitment.
Challenges & objectives
The main challenge was reassuring the two distinct audiences — students/parents and guidance professionals — about the quality of the service. The booking system needed to be simple and intuitive, allowing students to find an advisor matching their profile and objectives.
