Annual redesign of the EDF Mediator website with custom Elementor theme
The Project
Annual redesign of the mediateuredf-rapportannuel.fr website for the EDF Mediator, the independent entity responsible for resolving disputes between EDF and its customers. Each year, the Mediator's annual report is published as a dedicated website presenting key figures, recommendations and analyses from the past year. This recurring project requires a complete design overhaul while maintaining editorial and institutional consistency from one edition to the next.
As a web development expert, I developed a custom Elementor theme enabling pixel-perfect integration of the mockups supplied in Illustrator by the art director. Three editions (2021, 2022, 2023) were successfully delivered, each meeting the publication deadlines imposed by the Mediator's institutional calendar.
Challenges & Objectives
The main challenge was to guarantee absolute fidelity to the Illustrator mockups provided by the art director, while ensuring a high-performance and responsive site. Every graphic element, every spacing and every typographic choice had to be reproduced identically in the browser. The site needed to reflect the seriousness and credibility of the EDF institution, with smooth navigation allowing users to easily browse the different sections of the annual report.
The recurring nature of the project required a proven methodology to meet strict publication deadlines. Compliance with web accessibility standards was also a prerequisite for an institutional site of this scope, ensuring access to content for all users, including people with disabilities.

Results

This project represents a significant reference in the field of institutional websites for major French companies.
Technologies Used
The site was developed on WordPress with Elementor Pro and a custom theme entirely designed for the project. Elementor Pro provides the flexibility needed to reproduce creative layouts while maintaining clean semantic structure. The custom theme guarantees optimal performance and perfect adaptation to the specific graphic requirements of each edition of the annual report.
