Second edition of the EDF Mediator annual report website
The Project
Second edition of the collaboration with the EDF Mediator for the creation of the dedicated website for the 2022 annual report. This project is part of a trust-based relationship established the previous year, with a completely redesigned new look while maintaining the editorial consistency specific to the institution. The mediateuredf-rapportannuel.fr website allows citizens, businesses and energy sector professionals to consult online the national energy mediator's recommendations, statistics and analyses for 2022.
Challenges & Objectives
The 2022 edition required a complete visual overhaul compared to the previous year, with new mockups provided by the art director in Illustrator. The main technical challenge lay in the pixel-perfect integration of these mockups while guaranteeing a responsive experience across all devices. The site needed to be accessible, high-performing and reflect the seriousness of the institution. Navigation needed to allow smooth browsing of the report's different sections: key figures, recommendations, mediation and disputes, internal organisation.
Technical Approach
The site was developed with WordPress and Elementor Pro, using a custom child theme to ensure fidelity to the Illustrator mockups. Dynamic sections were created to facilitate content updates by the Mediator's team. Performance optimisation was a priority, with work on image compression, lazy loading and resource minification.

Results
