The Project

Development of the rental website for Ultim'Home, an agency specialising in luxury chalet rentals in Méribel, at the heart of the Trois Vallées ski area. Ultim'Home offers an exclusive selection of premium chalets for unforgettable ski holidays, with premium services including concierge, luxury amenities and privileged ski-in/ski-out locations. The site needed to offer an online experience befitting the properties on offer, combining visual elegance with functional efficiency.

As a web development expert, I created a site that showcases the properties through immersive photo galleries and detailed listings for each chalet. The online booking system allows visitors to check availability and book their stay directly from the site, considerably simplifying the booking process that was previously done exclusively by phone and email.

Challenges & Objectives

The main challenge was to design an online rental platform reflecting the agency's premium positioning in the luxury seasonal rental market. The design needed to evoke the warm and exclusive atmosphere of mountain chalets, with large-format visuals, elegant typography and a colour palette inspired by the alpine world. Each chalet listing needed to present amenities, capacity, location and photos in an attractive way.

The real-time availability calendar was a critical feature to avoid double bookings and allow visitors to plan their stay autonomously. Seasonal pricing (peak season, low season, school holidays) needed to be dynamically managed. SEO optimisation targeted queries for chalet rentals in Méribel and the Trois Vallées, a competitive market where first-page ranking is decisive.

The premium design of the site reinforces the agency's image and contributes to potential clients' confidence.

Technologies Used

The site was developed on WordPress with WooCommerce adapted for seasonal rental. WooCommerce was configured to manage bookings with an availability calendar, variable seasonal pricing and secure deposit payment. WordPress provides simple administration for updating chalet listings, photos and pricing. High-resolution image optimisation ensures fast loading times despite the site's rich visual content.
